What is forgiveness?

A poor weak lady was bullied by a group of business rivals and their gangsters' relative; the "parley" actually was a "threat" and the poor lady was demanded to close down the business within 24 hours or put up a newspaper to apologize on the front page, block letters in red for a week and together with 10 tables feasts to invite all their listed friends.

Then the poor lady handled the insults, humiliation and wrongful accusations all by herself, she never gave up her job for the first fifteen years, but eventually the prolonged malady caused her dropping her job.

So during a sunny Sunday a preacher told the poor lady, you should forgive what they did to you, then you will get out of the blue.

The poor lady went back home, but found out her credit card was overdue, all bills not yet paid and the bank account was insufficient enough to settle the overwhelming bills bills bills. She grumbled, "How could I forgive someone who used dirty ways, distort and twisting my professional image, they acted exactly like “professional murders” and yet they are still live like winners, rich and richer, those bloody business rivals still go around cheating, telling lies, threatening to demand cash from poor victims etc?"

Then in an unexpected morning, the poor lady learned that her lotto ticket won many million dollars, she became wealthier than all those people who bullied her before, she cried to God, "Thank you God! I know what is called forgiven now and now I can forgive those people who once wrongly accused, humiliated and insulted me with their distorted stories to damage my professional image and murder my career!"

Moral of this story: Forgiven is subjected to a certain conditions! Unconditioned forgiven also is subjected to a certain conditions.

God wants us to forgive people so he would forgive us in order to gain access to his heaven, but how many people could do it if without a certain conditions happened to them?!!!!
