HOW TO PREPARE CORAL GRASS HERBAL DRINK

Its fishy smell or even texture could ward off people

Coral grass herbal drink, kaffir leaves at bottom

Created and written by Mrs. Money for Angela

If you don't want to spend tons of money to buy birdnest, this coral grass is a very good alternative. It is a good alkaline drink full of minerals and surprisingly it has higher collagen than birdnest.
My advice for you is when you buy coral grass: Make sure that what you have purchased is not the bleached coral grass.
In Kuching you can buy coral grass from some organic shop or you can order directly from retailers from Kuching city through internet.

Coral Grass must be washed, changed water for at least 3 times within an hour and finally soaked in water for around another 5 to 8 hours, then store in refrigerator

To prepare coral grass herbal drink, prepare pandan leaves, lemon grass, citric peel and peppermint

Blend all the herbs with water, sieve and boil quickly

Soaked coral grass must eventually wash with kaffir leaves and limes or lemon to get rid of unwanted fishy smell

Let the coral grass soak in the water for while waiting for herbal juice to get boiled, throwing in coral grass but only allowed a second of boiling and then off the fire immediately. Before drinking add honey. Served hot is advised for all ladies.

ALTERNATIVE INNOVATIVE CORAL GRASS RECIPLE ON VIETNAMESE DESERT
Boil green peas (without husk) and arrow roots (cut in rectangular small pieces) together with water until soft, then add pandan leaves extract, shredded coconut meat (tender), coconut cream, sugar (or honey) and shredded seaweeds (so here you use coral grass as an alternative instead of seaweeds, or you just add coral grass as an extra ingredient)

A DIARY OF PINEAPPLE PLANTS

The best recommended fruit to plant along your fence!

It took around one and a half year to produce this yellow fruit!

Written by Mrs. Money

Pineapple plants need fertile soil and compost, it usually takes more than a year to bear fruit and takes around 6 months to get its fruit ripen.

With its sharp leaves, my dad advised me to plant along the fence to catch thieves!

There are different species of pineapples found in Sarawak state, a general friend told me he ate all different species of pineapples all over Malaysia, e.g. Bario, JB and Mukah species but for Sarikei's pineapple he thought it's the sweetest!

However I couldn't get the Sarikei pineapple species during the time I bought pineapples for their heads used to plant along the fence of my new house.

I planted 7 pineapple plants of different species along a side of fence, due to poor soil these plants still not yet bearing fruit!

After eating first pineapple, I saved its head for propagation. Soak in the water if you don't plant it immediately

Place this way down to the soil, bury an inch of the lowest portion into the ground, with good moisture, roots will soon be germinated from its underneath
Half of the first harvested pineapple, very sweet!

Pineapple ripen right from its tree, it's very satisfying to grow it!

July 9th, 2010, harvested goosebery in Kuching

Proof that gooseberry can be planted and harvested in Kuching. Just make sure you use good soil and must be under the shade. Good tibit for children running and playing in the garden. I gave seedlings to a dozen over of friends and I still have a remaining dozen over gooseberry plants in the garden.

DO I HAVE ANY POLITICAL AWARENESS?

Written by Mrs. Money

Episode 1

A while ago, I read an intersting excerpt:

The cat who helped its master to catch rats but also eat his home fed chicken.

The moral of the story is really very sarcastic so I read on:
A little master wanted to throw away his household cat because besides catching rats, it also loved to eat his fed chicken, then his dad forbidded him to dump the cat. His dad's reason was, though the cat ate the chicken but it would protect the crops and household things lest the rats' demolished and threatened their harvest, he said, "The worst .... we just don't eat the chicken but our other things will be saved!"

So I come to a conclusion:
Let the premiers cruised on liners, ride on the Mercedes and RR, we just ride on proton, trains and bus, at least the country won't get "RATTED" up!

Episode 2

Right on the next morning after re-election in Sibu town, ones wouldn't be able to buy any Chinese newspaper after 9:00am!

I was in a coffee shop eating breakfast while listening gossips, a old male voice right next to my coffee table reached my ear:

"...... I told my wife ... you have married me from Sibu to my little pineapple town for exactly 50 years, how can your Queensway's drains are never constructed? There are like two little rivers along the side of a road during flooding or high tide .... people sitting along both sides fishing ... what a scene in the most populated richest men street of Sibu town! ........"

Grey on White Schoo Shoes

Why Chinese primary school students
went to school with white shoes
but returned home with grey shoes?!

Written by Mrs. Money

Mr. Money insisted his little money must study in Chinese primary school, his reasons .... I think wouldn't be much different from the rest of the Chinese-Malaysians' "China-men": We are Chinese; China is booming; Future success if doing business with the rest of Chinese around the world.

Last year, I always blamed and scolded the little Money who went to school with white shoes and socks on but returned home with grey shoes and socks.

Then few weeks ago, in a Friday morning when I sent the little Money to school, my eyes all a sudden looking down towards the floor and realized that 99% of these students wore dirty grey shoes, there was an exceptional 1% who came to school with new cleaned white shoes. When I took up my handphone wanted to take a photo of those grey dirty shoes, those smart students ran off with their mights!

So I went to see the school disciplinary-in-charged teacher, he told me he noticed the problem too, he found out it could be due to the cement that turned white shoes into grey in just a day of school.

So I have a doubt in my mind, "If this new primary school's cement floor dust good for students' lungs in a long term basis? Should the school asks to use compression to clean the cement throughoutly?"

I mocked meaningly at little Money, "Hi, your daddy made you study in the little China; you will get immuned and insensitive towards dirt, smelly and chaos. By the way your English, BM and Chinese now all become 'arang-arang'. Quantity becomes more important than quality!"

I hate Saturday when I have to wash all his grey shoes and grey socks, this cement dirt can't be wash by detergent, no kidding, recently I finally discovered "jiff" is the only best whitening agent to wash this stubborn grey off easier!

My old classmate's kids came to my house every Wednesday after school, I was surprised seeing them with after-school white shoes on, I wonder if every students in Lodge International returned home with white shoes still.

I talked to the disciplinary-in-charged teacher and questioned him why Lodge's students returned home with white shoes but not CH? He told me may be they don't have cement floor classrooms. That's why ones pay such high price to send kids to Lodge in a "little western country" instead of the "little China"!!!!

A Secret Revealed for Mothers' Day

Experiment on my own to make successful homemade lotion

Written by Mrs. Money

I wanted everything in my fastest yet perfect, cheapest, healthiest and finest things in life, thus I began to learn how to make my own lotion, but all previous outcomes were not as good as expected due to it always lacked of an emulsifying agent. I studied the ingredients of emulsifying wax and borax, I thought easiest way was to walk into a pharmacy store asking, "Any beewax?"
"Sorry, no."
"Any emulsifying wax?"
"Sorry, no. What do you want it for?"
"Making lotion."
"I got many good lotions, you can take a look!"

So nobody told me how to make it successfully based on my own available resources from my kitchen, I turned into a third class no diploma's chemist to make all kinds of experiments, successful or not, all ended up on my kids and my own skins, luckily those ingredients were not poisonous chemicals.

Grape seed oil with herbs and flowers (2/3); Rasperry volka (Sparingly); Enzyme (Sparingly); A bowl and a fork; Soda (A dash); RO water (Keep dripping in drop while stiring with fork, until it turned into white color) and finally Beewax (1/3)

Successful homemade lotion, best mothers' day gift for myself! Can also apply it on lip.
