Rainny season tomatoes

Tomatoes Grown Under Rainny Season
Written by Mrs. Money

Under the rain, tomatoes still grow and got harvested, but the lower part of the plant leaves turn into brownish soon.

I would advice plant tomatoes inside a pot and place under a shade during rainny season. You won't be able to share your harvest to friends in this case due to limited harvest!

  2. "The leaves, stems, and green unripe fruit of the tomato plant, as a member of the plant genus Solanum (nightshade), contain the poison solanine, which is toxic to humans and animals. Children have been poisoned by a tea produced from the leaves of the tomato plan. The fresh fruit is, however, harmless." Cut and Paste from Wikipedia!

However the above article said differently, so it's very interesting, I know Italians eat and pickled green tomatoes, I fried green tomatoes before, I didn't die.
